When you sign up with Looking2Hire.com, we ask for information about you, such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and if you are an employer, credit card number. At no time will your personal information be shared with any third party, unless you give your permission, except to the extent that we employ secure third party companies to perform functions on your behalf, such as processing your credit card. These other companies will have access only to necessary information, and they are not allowed to share the information with others.

We also protect your privacy when you post your Job Application on Looking2Hire.com. We do not post your information openly on the web, because too many people could access personal information about you. Instead, we provide two levels of security. First, all employers searching the database must pay a fee in order to view job applicants. However, your most private information, such as your name, address and phone number, is still not available to these employers. When an employer locates a group of employees who meet specifications, they pay a fee to look at individual contact data. This way, employers can easily and inexpensively find out how many people meet their criteria, and you can maintain your privacy.

Only qualified employers, human resource managers, and recruiting professionals are allowed to use our database, and we make our best effort to protect the integrity of this process. Though it is unlikely, we cannot guarantee that other parties will not pose as recruiters to gain access to the database.

You may remove your Jon Application from our database whenever you want to. After you remove your Job Application, the only people who will have access to it are those who have already paid for access to your application, who have perhaps retained a copy in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the privacy of information in such cases.

You can change or make corrections at any time. Just log into your account, and you can access options to edit your profile or add and delete Job Application or job postings.

Job recruiters are protected when providing credit card payments. We use encryption technology to safeguard your credit card information when it is sent over the Internet. Although encryption technology is not an absolute guarantee, it makes it very difficult to intercept or steal credit card information. We also maintain security procedures to protect the privacy of your credit card information after it is decoded by authorized personnel.

We gather general information about groups of users, which we use anonymously and only in the aggregate. Examples of general information are measuring which areas of the site are used most frequently, what services users access most often, and the length of time visitors spend on different sections of the site. This information helps us create the best, most user-friendly site, and helps us create a better experience for our users.

With your permission, we may use profile information that you provide to locate additional products and services that may be of interest to you.
